Hi! I’m Taylor. I’m a protein engineer and science communicator.

I completed my PhD in 2019 and since then I’ve had incredible opportunities to do cool science and talk about it.

I’m currently one of Science and Technology Australia’s Superstars of STEM and am raising my profile as a woman STEM expert.

Scientific research

I’m currently a postdoc at The University of Sydney in Australia. I engineer protein cages for interesting synthetic biology applications.

Outreach

I use many different media to communicate my work. Lately I’ve been experimenting with STEAM in my science communication practice and loving it! I’m a powerful advocate for educational equity and spend a lot of time working with schools.
